Clarissa is an internationally recognised Menopause Expert who knows how to help women approach their peri to post menopause journey as one of transformation. She is a speaker and author of international best seller The Mindful Menopause and the founder of Thriving Through Menopause – an end to end online coaching program exclusively designed for women that addresses menopause from a holistic mind-body approach and takes them from struggling with symptoms to greater confidence, and experiencing a new sense of freedom and energy in months . She is regularly invited to speak to at conferences on menopause and how women can become agents of change and impact their menopause transition in a positive way. Clarissa has had 7 years’ experience working with mindfulness and health coaching supporting women during perimenopause. Her 28 year tenure in corporate as a senior leader has gained her personal insight how menopause can impact on women’s confidence, wellbeing and ability to thrive in both their personal and professional life. She has been featured in many publications and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society and an active participant in the RSA’s Mindful Living network. In 2013 Clarissa suffered a burnout during her own perimenopause and in that time, she was mentored by and trained some of the worlds Experts in the Mind Body Field. She was adamant to find a different way to live her life and also discovered something very profound during this period. She realised that key to living well was to develop a kinder and more soothing approach to our minds, to shift from blaming and criticising ourselves, or self-dislike, to being curious about how our minds work; understanding and taking responsibility to try as best we can to feel more in control and at peace with ourselves. Clarissa realised that she had a profound gift to help women come into greater awareness of themselves, shift their mindset, build resilience and implement profound compassionate change in their lives. She knew the areas in her life that she found most supportive, when combined together, would become her vocation. This has made her a unique coaches because Clarissa combines mindfulness, health coaching, neuroscience and positive psychology into a considered and well thought through methodology that provides tangible results . First, the focus is on understanding the client’s menopause (symptoms, triggers, ) to dramatically reduce symptoms and manage stress.
