I am not part of the team that talks about digital as a buzzword and that it is going to solve all your problems. I am more of a practitioner of Digital strategy and how it is applied to deliver value to an existing Ecosystem. Lets say Practical working Digitalisation. I have done work on AI Ecosystems using my Value Models, Business Models and Ecosystem view. Some of the pioneering work I have done is in Value Model, Business Models and Ecosystems. Some of the work I have done in Business models and Ecosystems is as follows. 1. 5G Hype and the way to make it possible. 2. The cloud Ecosystem a Holistic view for adoption 3. How long will the advertisement model of Google and Facebook last . 4. The Banking business Model 5. The AI manifesto and the view that AI is just another tool like a machine and not a monster it is made out to be. Also the counter argument to the monster is what if AI turns out to be very loving. 6. Frame work for consumer IOT. This encompasses the Virtual Ownership model which has been developed by me. Imagine the rise of IOT, the issue with this is there are various companies which try to focus the IOT around themselves and then we have issues when the IOT product changes ownership. Also it is very impractical for you to have 100 apps in your mobile for the 100 IOT devices you buy. Hence the business model needs to change the focus from the company to the consumer. Another ares of my work has been Value Models Business models ad Ecosystems and the interplay between them. From the 1900s any company which has succeeded has used a combination of these three to become a top leader in their field. Pick any company and I can show you a combination of the above. And the demise of the company also happens when it strays from these three. Take Google, Microsoft, Apple any one. Another pioneering Area which I have worked on and will become a reality in the next ten years is Virtual Ownership and I believe will be the next evolution in the internet. The work I have done in Virtual Ownership encompasses many unrelated areas like GDPR, Value models for identity, Scaling up models for Identity. Think of it as this way there is a glass of water and represents the world, there are different changes which happen with respect to technology, peoples perception like for example the mee too movement, Social changes like for example the rise of China as a strong economy. Imagine each of these ares is a different colour dye. Say red green, yellow etc. When these drops are put in the glass of water there is a mixing of these colours and we get a very different colour in the glass. Anticipating these interactions among unconnected areas is what the future value model, business model and Ecosystem will look like. Another area I work in is Model based testing, which is a very different way to develop products. Today you have a lot of Automation in testing and product development. However there are two aspects to this. One is designing your processes in such a way that testing bugs are less and secondly testing with respect to a model so that when any changes are made in the requirements, they are reflected in the model and there is no time wasted on redoing the testing for the changed requirement. The changed requirement is reflected in the model and test scripts are generated on the fly. This reduces a substantial time in testing and product delivery. Another area I have pioneered is the concept of IPCT which is the way we humans work. The whole world is centered around you and what you do with your identity. You use your identity to follow a process and the transaction is consumated and you have communication to consumate the transaction. The IPCT concept was developed with the realisation that each person has a private personal domain and uses his identity to interact in the world be it facebook or Linkedin or google where he uses his identity to consumate a transaction. Let me know if interesting.
